CMMS Engineers & Maintenance Technicians

 

For an ProService building facilities projects in Cairo; we are hiring:

 

·        Mechanical /Electrical project Engineers and managers for central air-conditioning with high computer skills, 1 to 5 years experience.

·        Human resources specialist, full or part time for engineering and contracting company.  

·        Mechanical/ Electrical maintenance Engineers with high computer skills. 1 to 5 years experience knowledge of “CMMS” programs is an added advantage.

·       Electromechanical planning engineer with good computer skills & knowledge of MS project or/ and primavera planning software 1 to 5 years experience. Knowledge of “CMMS” programs is an added advantage.

·        Planning & cost Control Mechanical / Electrical Engineer, Excellent English & Primavera / MS Project Mechanical / Electrical Engineer.

Minimum Qualifications

B.Sc. in Engineering.

Minimum Experience

Experience of at least 5 years in construction work of Building Services (HVAC / mechanical / Plumbing / Electrical) in prestigious projects (on site and in office) covering a broad range of activities.

Skillful at using Computers for Project Control applications.

Principal Duties

Develops a fully detailed method statement, proposing amendments and alternatives to it and to the project construction method statement as considered advantageous to meet or improve on project targets, informs the site supervisors of the methods and programs. Ensures that the project organization chart and all manning schedules are kept up-to date.

Designs report forms of all sorts as required for progress reports on all aspects of the project (excepting cost reports).

Updates the overall programs. Prepares in conjunction with the concerned staff the detailed short-term working programs as necessary, accentuating any revision in the sequences of duration of activities arising from enforced changes being made to the overall program.

Checks progress on the above programs by frequent site inspection, and stress to site supervisors the need to adhere to the required sequences and duration of the scheduled activities.

Where necessary draws up daily programs showing hourly resource allocation for manpower, plant and factory production items. Recommends priorities for allocation in the event of conflicting demands and co-ordinates the transfer of labor as necessary.

Prepares programs as required prior to the letting of sub-contracts to arrange continuity of work for the sub-contractor at the least cost to the project. Issues necessary programs to sub-contractors on site and checks to ensure that their activities are kept in line with contract requirements.

Prepares and updates labor resource programs showing the work force required for each direct trade, and for major sub-contractors when applicable.

Prepares programs for major site operations and production facilities (earthworks concrete production, pre-casting, steel fabrication, etc.) and monitors output to ensure that site requirements are met.

Ensures that a detailed log is maintained of the processing of all preparation and approval steps of drawings and details of materials. Follows up as necessary to ensure that they, and any necessary working drawings, are available for site use when required. Receives sub-contractors and suppliers shop drawings and programs, checks them, forwards them to the client/consultant for approval and subsequently passes them to site engineers for action.

Monitors all change orders to the contract to make certain that all additions and deletions are incorporated in revisions of the construction method statement and the overall program. Whenever change orders will lead to additional expense the jobholder advises Project Management so that the necessary action can be taken.

Responsible for coordination and execution of the multi-discipline team, as well as liaise on-site with the engineering and procurement main contractor and also Client.

Implementing Health/Safety as well as Quality Progress.

Liaise and control various specialist sub-contractors.

ProService also intends very soon to adopt a computer based accounting system to integrate both the financial accounting and cost accounting of all the company activities.
